Campus community is a buzzing hub of learners and collaborators. At our campus communities, we take pride in learning on our own and from peers. That's right! You can be a mentor too, once you've learnt a new topic and are ready to share it with your friends. We have a fun team who take you in this journey of learning, exploring and growing - with tons of help from you, of course!
Here's how we do it:
Resources: TinkerHub will maintain a resource library with diverse articles, program structures, activity references, and educational materials to support campus projects. Additionally, access to mentors will be provided to assist with implementing these resources, combining curated content and expert guidance to streamline the process for students.
Hackathon: Hackathons are designed to stimulate your brains and get some highly creative solutions for a given set of problems. Campus communities hosts yearly hackathons and members can organize their own or participate in external hackathons.
The Hub Of TinkerHub: Stay connected with the TinkerHub community through the app, which unites members across campuses. Use it to access resources, participate in events, and stay updated on news and opportunities. Remember to follow conduct guidelines and be respectful to ensure a positive community experience.
Networking: We also encourage you to attend and network at offline events like casual meet-ups or conferences. Make friends, problem-solver teams, changemaker groups or even co-found a startup by the time you graduate**!**
Projects: Getting your hands dirty is the best learning strategy — be a part of some of TinkerHub's best projects and learn as you build. And the projects you build here will be used by people and have an impact on their lives.
Bootcamps: Campus communities bootcamps are led by your peers or industry experts who get you through the nuances and tricky bits in no time. We provide the best resources and curriculum available for bootcamps.
Event Invites: As part of the TinkerHub community, members will receive exclusive invites to events. These events offer valuable opportunities to learn from industry leaders, stay updated with the latest technology trends, and network with professionals and peers.
Access to TinkerSpace: TinkerHub members will have access to TinkerSpace, our dedicated maker space, where they can work on projects, collaborate with others, and utilize specialized equipment. As we expand, we aim to provide more TinkerSpaces to support our growing community.
Awards and Recognitions: We believe in celebrating the hard work and dedication of our community members. TinkerHub will recognize and reward outstanding contributions through various awards and recognitions. These accolades will acknowledge individual and team achievements and motivate others to strive for excellence.
Access to Tools and Technologies: Members of TinkerHub will have exclusive access to tools and technologies. This access ensures that community members can experiment, build, and innovate with the latest resources, enhancing their learning and project development.
Career opportunities and training: Skills like resume building, attending interviews, corporate behaviour are vital if you're looking for a career at your dream company. At campus communities, we organise mock interviews and training sessions to hone your talent.
Internships: As undergrads or school students, industry exposure through internships are the best way to grow. An additional perk is getting paid and recognised for your work, industry connections and exposure.
Leadership Opportunities: The core idea is to help our members grow, not just as coders, but rather, as leaders and mentors to each other. We provide every member with an equal opportunity within the campus communitiy and outside, leading teams at TinkerHub and its projects.
Volunteering Opportunities: Engaging in community projects, students enhance their leadership and problem-solving skills, realizing their creative potential and contributing to meaningful initiatives. These programs aim to impact a million students by 2025.
